SAND AND GRAVEL

R & G Cooper specialise in the manufacture and refurbishment of all types of sand and gravel plant. The Tarmac group commissioned the company to construct plant and complete associated work at their Colchester base.  This included screen refurbishment, new water systems, spray bars, main feed conveyors, new Lyna Tex systems, platforms and access ladders.

 The project was completed within a 21 day deadline which included the dismantling and removal of all old plant, the design, fabrication and the transportation of newly completed sections, assembly and commissioning.  Associated works included the construction of a number of floating pontoons incorporating a pivoting walkway and pipe support between the pontoon and the shore.

Our expansion into this area has led to us being awarded a number of prestigious commissions including large installation contracts at Canary Wharf, Barnet Hospital and Triton Square as well as Kesgrave School, Ipswich and many other smaller commissions in London and the southern counties.
